Purim Service
Contrary to popular belief, Lorem Ipsum is not simply random text. It has roots in a piece of classical Latin literature. This year (2026), the Feast of Purim falls on March 2nd-3rd (sunset to sunset). Rabbi Jeff will be holding our traditional Purim service on the Shabbat service just before the 2nd. We will be passing out Hamantaschen gift baggies, reading the entire Book of Esther, and encouraging the use of noisemakers and wearing a costume of one of the Purim characters. Children remain upstairs for this service to enjoy the reading of the Scripture account. This is one of our favoriate services so come and enjoy the festivities!
